Soffit linings are essentially outdoor ceilings. They protect the underside of a roof or upper storey. Located outdoors, soffits need to be water resistant. For added protection Cemintel® Soffitline® fibre cement soffits incorporate Cemintel’s unique Ceminseal® water block technology. Cemintel Soffitline is typically used for large soffits on commercial buildings.

The Soffitline® panel has been designed with recessed long edges for use in flush jointed external ceilings such as those found in large retail awnings, verandahs, balconies and car park canopies.

Soffitline Panel Information

Fibre cement is a material inherently resistant to damage from moisture. Even better though, Cemintel Soffitline has a Ceminseal water repellent coating.

The pre-primed fibre cement sheets not only repel water but increase paint adhesion and soak up less paint than unprimed fibre cement panels. Panels are tinted in lilac colour so they’re more easily identified among the other fibre cement products in store.

Suitable for use in applications where non-combustible materials are specified by the National Construction Code (NCC) Volume One clause C2D1 Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions and Vol. 2 H3D2 (1)(d)).
