Since its launch in 2010, hundreds of projects both residential and commercial have been clad with Barestone, both outside and inside (even on ceilings). These prefinished panels have become firmly established as Australia’s favourite choice for internal and external applications. Barestone offers a natural, raw appearance which blends seamlessly into its environment and easily adapts to modern, contemporary design.
Cemintel is building on this Australian success story with the addition of three colours to the Barestone Range; Ash, Lunar and Graphite.
“CSR Cemintel has developed three matte colour offerings - Ash, Lunar and Graphite - to expand on their successful Barestone panel. With a serene, detailed aesthetic, they reinterpret distinct cement finishes. CSR Cemintel has managed to extract the diverse greys and industrial tones that exist within building materials such as gravel, cement and concrete, whose existence in avant-garde and fashionable design grows every day.” – Angelique Ford, Interior Designer and Specification Consultant.
Barestone Ash a grey colour with a warm undercurrent suggesting reminiscent of charred remnants of a smouldering log fire.
Barestone Lunar is a bluer grey, the coolness of which recalls the waxing phase of the moon as it darkens.
Barestone Graphite is the darkest of the colours with a dominant black base evoking the natural stability of its geological namesake.
Australian-designed and made, Barestone panels continue to be a tried and true cladding material which complements both natural and industrial surrounds. Being a compressed fibre cement sheet, Barestone offers durability and adaptability and has been featured on the facades of many projects such as Western Sydney Stadium, Zinc Gold Coast and Pascoe Vale Community Centre.
Reinforcing a long-standing commitment to designing building products in Australia and for Australia, the Barestone Colours range is manufactured at CSR Cemintel’s Wetherill Park plant in Sydney, NSW. Locally sourced materials and production mean the Barestone panels are readily available and which eliminates importation delays from the manufacturing and delivery process.
