Julian Brenchley talks Cemintel products on The Block

In this video Julian Brenchley, lead architect on The Block, discusses the use of Cemintel products in the design and construction of the five homes that make up season 13 of The Block.

Season 13 of The Block saw the contestants renovating five rundown weatherboard houses in Regent Street, Elsternwick, in Melbourne. Cemintel products were used extensively in the renovations. Scarborough® Weatherboard was used to improve the existing cottages, while Surround blackish base panels make a spectacular appearance on the new ‘pavilion’ extensions. Ceminseal® Wallboard was used in all the bathrooms to ensure they were perfectly waterproofed. As host Scott Cam pointed out during the series, “Waterproofing is our number one priority on The Block.”
